We have the nominees for the 37th annual GLAAD Media Awards, which honor fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the LGBTQ community in film, TV, music, videogames, podcasts, journalism and more. See the full list of 31 categories below.
Vying for the Outstanding Wide-Release Film prize are Blue Moon, Cristy, Clown in a Cornfield, Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, The History of Sound, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Kiss of the Spider Woman, On Swift Horses, Twinless and The Wedding Banquet. Up for the Limited-Release Film award are Cactus Pears, Fairyland, Griffin in Summer, I Wish You All the Best, A Nice Indian Boy, Plainclothes, Ponyboi, The Queen of My Dreams, Young Hearts and Sorry, Baby.
Winners wil be feted at the 37th GLAAD Media Awards ceremony on March 5 in Los Angeles. The group does not present awards for acting.
Netflix leads the way among distributors and networks/streamers with 23 noms, followed by the combined HBO/Max with 14, Apple TV (11) and Hulu (nine).
Among the winners for TV, music and other media catefories at last year’s 36th GLAAD Awards were Hacks, Agatha All Along, Baby Reindeer, Doechii, Will & Harper, The View, RuPaul’s Drag Race, The Advocate and NBC News.
