The History Channel is rolling out another slate of documentaries fronted by well-known faces.
Last year, it was Kevin Costner, Bradley Cooper, Morgan Freeman, Michael Imperioli and Dan Aykroyd. This year, it’s Kevin Bacon, Ted Danson, Tom Selleck and Dolph Lundgren.
The cable network has unveiled five new series and documentaries as part of its annual Upfront: History’s Strange Fortunes with Kevin Bacon, Extraordinary Origins with Ted Danson, Crime and Justice with Tom Selleck, History’s Greatest Machines with Dolph Lundgren and 102 Minutes Inside the Towers…
…History’s Greatest Machines with Dolph Lundgren sees the Rocky IV star, who has a background in chemical engineering, look at the gears, guts, and genius behind the machines that reshaped our world.
The eight-part series is produced by Superluna Studios in association with 3BMG. It is exec produced by Lundgren, David Carr, who serves as showrunner, Johnny Gould, Ross Weintraub, Reinout Oerlemans, Mary E. Donohue and Michael Stiller.
