As senior vice president of business and legal affairs for 3BMG, Julie Hunt is the head of the legal department, overseeing production legal across the company’s slate. Julie manages complex litigation matters and consults with department heads and network executives on potential risk levels associated with such matters. She also drafts, negotiates and advises on development and production-related agreements, and manages review of content for potential legal and clearance issues.
With nearly 20 years of experience in entertainment law, Julie joined 3BMG in 2015 after serving as an attorney at Jackoway Tyerman Wertheimer Austen Mandelbaum Morris & Klein. Julie began her career at Wiseman & Associates before branching out on her own where she represented clients in entertainment, fashion and multimedia, and oversaw production legal for various productions including America’s Got Talent for NBC, Game Show Marathon for CBS, Lives on Fire for OWN and Bellator Fighting Championships for ESPN Deportes.
Julie graduated from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law and has been an active member of the State Bar since 2003.
