Matt Johnson is executive vice president of business development and affairs for 3BMG. His portfolio includes dealmaking for productions, joint ventures, first looks and international sales, risk management and insurance, executive talent recruitment and overall corporate strategy. Johnson has more than 15 years of experience as a production, operations and business affairs executive for unscripted production companies.
Prior to 3BMG, Johnson was chief operating officer at GoodStory Entertainment, where he shepherded projects including Unidentified with Demi Lovato for Peacock and Metal Shop Masters for Netflix. Before that, he served as senior vice president of production for Entertainment One’s U.S. alternative programming. He also previously worked for 3 Ball Productions (then Eyeworks USA), producing series including Extreme Weight Loss (ABC), Flying Wild Alaska (Discovery) and Funniest Wins (TBS).
